Strategy to Spotlight. a Global Campaign for Sport Equity.

Overview

To accelerate gender equality across the Olympic Movement, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) launched a global communications initiative grounded in 25 Executive Board-approved recommendations. The objective was to amplify the IOC’s leadership role in promoting equity in sport, governance, funding, cultural visibility, and representation.

We developed and executed a full-scale campaign , encompassing narrative development, report design, infographics, press materials, and global social media content tailored for IOC leadership, international sports organizations, and global partners.

Timed strategically with International Women’s Day and the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW62), the campaign positioned the IOC as a leading voice in driving gender equality across international sport.

Content was designed to communicate progress and urgency in equal measure, connecting the recommendations to tangible action. Infographics distilled complex policy into accessible visuals, while press materials and social media assets engaged audiences worldwide under the unifying hashtag #RacingtoGenderEquality.

The campaign achieved significant reach and engagement: 1,100+ media mentions in 10 days, 3.1 billion+ impressions, and 55% share of voice in global media coverage on gender equity in sport.

In addition to the core campaign, we supported a high-profile side event co-hosted by UN Women, UNESCO, NBC Sports, and P&G. The event featured strategic messaging, branded visual design, speaker preparation, and global livestream production, reaching more than 20,000 viewers worldwide.

By combining strategic communications, compelling design, and global partnerships, the “Racing to Gender Equality” campaign reinforced the IOC’s commitment to advancing equity both on and off the field.

It demonstrated how coordinated storytelling, data-driven messaging, and cultural alignment can elevate advocacy into a movement with lasting impact.
